The 6th MINEX “Russian Mining Excellence” Awards Committee is pleased to present nominations for 2012 awards and calls for votes on http://2012.minexrussia.com/voting/
Any individual over 18 years of age with professional or academic interests in the Russian mining industry may take part in the voting. Under the Award rules, votes are accepted only from the individuals who have registered their details on the above mentioned Awards website. Votes from companies or groups are accounted as a single vote. Information about individuals or companies who took part in the vote remains confidential and will not be disclosed.
Internet voting begins at 15:00 pm (Moscow time) on Thursday, 20 September and ends at 21:00 pm (Moscow time) on Wednesday, 26 September 2012.
After closing, the vote results will be presented to the awards committee. Award winners will be announced at the Gala Dinner held on Thursday, October 4 at the Radisson Slavyanskaya Hotel in Moscow. Nominees will be awarded with the honorary diplomas. The winners will be awarded with the personalised certificates and exclusive bronze-cast statues made by Russian craftsmen.
The voting results and interviews with the winners will be covered by the Russian mining trade press, published on www.minexrussia.com www.minexforum.com, broadcasted via MINEX Forum Internet TV.
About the Award
The annual “Russian Mining Excellence Award” was established by the MINEX Russia Forum in 2007. The purpose of the award is to contribute to the competitive spirit and promote best achievements in the Russian mining industry. The award has become an instant success offering an unbiased and independent platform for day-lighting success stories and awarding Russian and International companies and individuals for their outstanding achievements in improving mining industry standards and practices in Russia.

Decisions on the award winners are based on the results of public online voting and opinion provided by the independent experts, participating in the Awards Committee. The committee members are elected for two years.
